What does MEET & GREAT mean?
MEET & GREAT is a service offered by the car rental company in case they do not have an office at the airport. In this case, the car rental agency does not provide the exact address of the office. MEET & GREAT means that one of the local car rental representatives will wait for you in the arrival hall holding a poster with your name. As soon as you meet the agent at the airport, he will lead you to the car or to the local office. If you do not find them or you do have any delay, please call the number from your confirmation voucher.
Do I need an international drivers licence to rent a car in Zagreb?
A valid driver´s license is required to be able to rent a car. You will need an international license along with your own home license if you are renting a car out of the country where your home license was issued. It is always recommended to check further requirement in the local traffic department where you home license was issued. We always recommend strongly having an international driver´s license with you when you are going for holidays abroad. The local car rental company can refuse to give you the car if you do not present it.
Is the insurance included in the rental price?
Please, note that usually full insurance will not be included in the rental rate. The type of insurance which is included in your rental rate depends on your residence country, the location where you are renting and on the local car rental supplier. We strongly recommend entering terms and conditions for the selected location and car rental agency and read them carefully in order to learn which type of insurance is included in the rental rate. You can also find an additional type of insurance which is offered by the local supplier. For some quotes we do offer a full comprehensive refund insurance you can purchase on our website. What is going to happen if I cause a damage to the rental car?
The driver is responsible for any damage on the rented car. The amount can be up to the blocked deposit on your credit card. For any accident caused, you will need to get a police report. Please also contact directly the local rental car agency. They will instruct you what is the procedure. If you don't have taken out any extra insurance, you might be charged up to the deposit amount blocked on your credit card. If you have a full comprehensive refund insurance, please ask for the invoice of the damage by the local company. With the invoice, you can request a refund by the insurance.
What is the fuel policy of the car rental company in Zagreb?
The fuel policy depends on the rental car supplier. They have it written clearly in the terms and conditions shown on our website. There is also a filter option to choose which fuel policy you prefer. The most common fuel policy is FULL TO FULL - you will receive the car with the fuel tank. To avoid fuel charges, you will need to return it with the same amount of fuel as it was given. The missing fuel will be charged on return REPURCHASE FUEL - the car will be supplied with a full tank for which you will be charged at the rental desk. You can use as much fuel as need. No refund will be given on unused fuel. Please, always check the fuel policy before you decide to rent the car.
